Membership Types

The following membership types and amounts were set and voted on by membership at the June 2023 Conference. These rates will take effect with the 2024-25 cycle. Membership renewal information will be sent out in May/June 2024. 

  • Institutional Membership ($150.00) – Unlimited members
    • Active membership is institutional and is open to collegiate institutions in the state of Alabama whom are accredited as a collegiate-level degree-granting institution of higher education, or be approved as a candidate for accreditation, by an accrediting body recognized by the U.S. Department of Education. Institutions meeting the above conditions may enter ALACRAO by submitting a written request. Institutions not meeting these qualifications may become members upon approval of the Executive Committee.. Administrative officers who are charged with the responsibility for admissions, registrations, records, and other related functions shall be eligible for active participation in the organization. There is an unlimited number of members for this category. This level of membership includes access to the ALACRAO-Sanctioned College Fair Calendar.

  • Educational Agency Membership ($100.00) – Up to 6 members
    • State educational boards or agencies of higher education may apply for educational agency membership. There is a maximum of six members for this category. This membership is non-voting. This level of membership can access the ALACRAO-Sanctioned College Fair Calendar for $50.

  • Corporate Membership ($100.00) – Up to 2 members 
    • Organizations that are not collegiate or state-related education boards or agencies may apply for corporate membership. There is a maximum of two members for this category. This membership is non-voting. This level of membership can access the ALACRAO-Sanctioned College Fair Calendar for $50.

  • Associate Membership ($75.00) – Up to 1 member
    • Individuals who are not otherwise eligible for any other membership category and who wish to participate in the organization may apply for associate membership.  This membership is non-voting. This level of membership can access the ALACRAO-Sanctioned College Fair Calendar for $75.

Non-members who wish to gain access to the college fair calendar will be charged an appropriate fee set by the Executive Committee.
